Our Vision

The First Baptist Church, Moore Street is a unified body of Christian believers striving to impact the world through evangelism, discipleship, and servanthood. Our vision as a church family is to evangelize the non-believer, disciple and develop the believer, and to serve humanity with the selfless and sacrificial love of Christ.

Our Values

First Baptist Church ministers to the world in view of the following core values:

Evangelism
We believe Christ died for the remission of the sins of humanity. Therefore, we seek to inform the world of the salvation from the grasp of sin which is available by confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Discipleship
As believers in Jesus Christ, we are disciples of Christ. As disciples of Christ, we see it as our obligation, duty, and responsibility to continue the work of Christ in the world, as we love God and humanity

Stewardship
Apostle James in James 1:17 states, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” It is with that understanding that we support the ministry of First Baptist with our temple (body), time, talents, and treasure. We serve humanity with the understanding that all we possess comes from our Father God, thus we are but caretakers of the blessings we return in support of holistic ministry.
