The music and arts ministry here at First Baptist are a team of faithful and committed singers and musicians that exist to worship Christ; as we lead the congregation in praise and worship serving the church and community.

Sanctuary Choir: Sings the first Sunday of every month. This choir sings traditional gospel songs, hymns, spirituals, and choral music. All are welcome.

Male Chorus: The male chorus is an ensemble of men that sing a variety of songs that incorporate quartet harmony every 2nd Sunday of each month. Membership is open to All Men interested in singing.

God Squad Choir: Is a group of energetic and enthusiastic teens that is on fire for the Lord. This 12 – 17-year-old group sings contemporary gospel music. The energetic group is directed by Jewelyn Dunn.

Kids for Christ: Is a group of children ages 5 -11 who use their musical talents in songs.

Gospel Choir: Performs contemporary music for the 4th Sunday. This choir’s music is uplifting, entertaining and worshipful. The Gospel Choir openly invites any interested member to join them.

Praise Team: is a small but growing ensemble of spiritually filled individuals providing praise and worship music. All are encouraged to join this group of individuals who are on FIRE for the Lord.

Mass Choir: Is comprised of a combination of all the First Baptist Church choir members. This choir unites to sing a wide array of music from traditional hymns to contemporary gospel.

The Chamber Choir: This choir offers more of a classical style Christian music during special services and occasionally during the 5th Sunday of the month. All are welcome to join.
